Community Nurse

In keeping with its purpose, one of the committees is the Community Nurse. The Civic Club has provided a Registered Nurse to residents of Shippensburg since 1917. Services are offered with the aid of the United Way and Partnership for Better Health. Some examples of things the nurse may do are assistance with medicine box preparation, wound care and blood pressure screenings. There is no fee required; donations to the Civic Club are accepted.
